GTA4 is awsome BUT if san. an. had the same level of graphics it would tear this game a new one. There is life in san with all that is avaliable to do and see. GTA4 is a stripped down version but prettyer. Game still rocks. Multiplayer is more like san an graphicaly. I may not want to do all the things in san an or travel all that way but don't please don't cap my game experiance please. Bigger gb on disk but less content. I hope that downloads purchase will fix this or will add what they have taken away. But hey mabey this is why they did it to give us something later. who knows but i still love this game. p

this GTA is uncomparable. it goes beyond any other action game, and clearly leaves it´s older brothers (San Andreas and Vice City) far behind. Niko is the best Character there is out there among the GTAs, and this is simply one of my all time favorite games. 10/10 indeed.

People seem to miss the point. It's a game and it's just plain fun. The wisecracks in the game actually made me laugh. Sarcasm at it's best. Great Game can't say more but, you must own it.

I have played more than 30hours I do not see the bugs people are talking about ,You could say I am the grandfather of gaming I have been around since Atari and Intelevision.By current standards there is nothing out there at the moment that comes close to GTA 4 END OF STORY!

As to why the planes have been removed should be fairly obvious. The game is set in New York City. New York doesn't have a great history in the line of planes. So Rockstar opted to have them removed, so that people won't be hijacking planes and running them into the nearest building. Afterwards, most likely posting them to youtube or something.

aygol: It's the same GTA we know and love but I wouldn't give it that tag just yet wait and see to see if it stands the test of time like Final Fantasy VII or Half Life

scocraig: I found that the 16 player makes a more focused and intimate experience. More players does not = more fun

and for the PC owners: Even though you have to wait longer you'll reap the bigger rewards as well as having the same great game as the console owners you'll have crisper graphics and plus they'll be some user created MODS going around as well i'm sure and i've got a feeling that the episodic content will somehow find its way onto the internet for the PC owners who knows

IMO: Its the same GTA with a few tweaks added multiplayer and an awesome storyline that had me hook, line and sinker

its no real big innovation and has less content than in San Andreas but this makes the experience more story focused and driven but hey it's GTA it was never going to get anything less than a 10 people may accuse me of being a fanboy with my eyes closed but to be honest if thats the case for a game this good id rather keep them shut

i have been playing online games for 10 years back then it wasn't all about graphics it was all about the gameplay now this game is good but the online play is far behind whats the point of having a massive city of you can only have 16 online player at any time on the map this really needs to be sorted we want at least 64 player how rockstar faild to see the popularity of having loads of ppl in online play is amazing after all after sa-mp (up to 200 player!) was released the game sales went up by a mile but if it had only beed a 16 player online game would have it really been as popular.. i think not rockstar needs to rethink this one
